Teen Flirting Tips

Nobody is a born flirt genius. Like all good things, flirting also needs to be learnt. Read on to learn about flirting tips and practise till you are a pro.

Choose Your Targets

Choose random targets to flirt with. You need not have a crush on anybody to start flirting. Practice makes you perfect, so select random targets to perfect your flirting skills. This way, you’ll have valuable flirting experience to bank on, when you need it the most.

Have a Creative Opening Line

Find a creative opening line. Surprise the target, but ensure you do not intimidate him or her. If you are in the same class, ask a relevant question about the subject or an assignment.

Make Eye Contact

Making eye contact is essential, otherwise you’ll look uninterested or bored. If you are too shy to make eye contact, look at the area between the eyes. It’ll seem like eye contact to the target.

Give a Compliment

Come up with a compliment about how they look – their smile, hair or clothes. Tell them in a friendly manner that you like it very much. It might make them open up to you.

Smile

You don’t have to look like Bozo the Clown. But, smiling gives the idea that you like talking to them. And, if they smile back, you can be sure that the feeling is mutual.

Keep It Light

Talk about your new puppy and not about when your old puppy got run over by a truck. Avoid sad or serious stuff and ensure to keep your flirting light. You needn’t share your honest opinion about anything. The idea is to pave the way for more conversations.

Practice

No one can get it right the first time. If flirting still gives you the hajeebies, it just means you require more practice. So, keep on flirting till it becomes second nature.
