How to Look Great Without Makeup

Makeup can certainly enhance your physical appearance and bring out your best facial features. However, using too much makeup can damage your skin and take away your natural beauty, especially in teens. Moreover, the teenage years are when young boys and girls look best with a natural innocent appearance.

Teens don’t really need lots of makeup, until and unless there is some special event for which makeup is appropriate. Believe me, you can still look beautiful without makeup. This is the right time to show off your natural beauty. Here’s how to look great and fabulous without makeup.

Practice Scrupulous Skin Care:

You need to take extra special care of your skin if you are going to forgo makeup. Cleansing your face with a mild face cleanser twice a day followed with a moisturizer cream is a good start to keep your skin healthy. Do herbal steam facials twice a week to cleanse the pores of your skin and keep your skin healthy and glowing. Make sure that you follow this skin care regimen on a regular basis.

Gently Ex-foliate Your Skin Regularly:

This is the secret of many beautiful women who keep their skin young and beautiful. Use a gentle cleanser with an ex-foliating face pad and massage your face for about one minute in a circular motion. This will help you get rid of dead skin cells and improve your blood circulation to your skin, giving your face a healthy, soft glow that is even better than blush.

Drinks Lots of Water:

Don’t forget to keep your skin well hydrated if you want to achieve healthy glowing skin. Make sure that you drink at least 7-8 glasses of water daily to keep your skin well hydrated. Stay away from caffeine or alcohol that acts as a diuretic and dehydrates your skin further.

Get Plenty of Rest:

It is very important to get a minimum of 7-8 hours sleep every night if you want to achieve natural, beautiful skin. Sleep is the best natural remedy to keep your skin glowing and healthy. Not getting enough sleep will result in dark circles under your eyes that look swollen and puffy and can make you look tired, sallow and dull.

Wear Sunscreen:

Going natural doesn’t mean you should not use sunscreens. Be sure to apply sunscreen before you step out of your house. This will help protect your skin from harmful UV rays and wind.

Keep Your Lips Moisturized:

Don’t forget to use a lip moisturizer to keep your lips smooth and soft. A touch of natural lip-gloss can definitely give you those smooth and sexy lips.
